Feralco Environnement has signed an agreement to continue operating on the industrial site in Basse-Indre.

The operation of this unit, still under the control Soferti for a few months, will be taken directly by Feralco Environnement under this agreement as part of the declaration by Soferti of termination of activity of the rest of the site in Basse-Indre. This unit produces mainly inorganic coagulants for drinking water treatment in the west of France.

Feralco Environnement states that Feralco is a Swedish industrial group, whose headquarters are in France and the United Kingdom. The group, established in January 2001, is now the second European player of products for water treatment. Feralco manages the group’s activities on French territory and has based its Central Research Centre on water trades in Colombes.
